Sharing the Memories Day – 10th May 2013

We were delighted to welcome 30 guests to Skene Square School. Former pupils and teachers came to share memories of their school days with the present pupils and meet some of their old chums.

The day began with a cheery hello and a tour of the school led by a group of P7 pupils. The guests then spent some time chatting with pupils in individual classes.

P6 pupils presented a french play called ‘Les Animaux Du Gabon” which had gained them First Prize of £150 was awarded for their performance in Recontre Theatrales 2013 Competition.

The P4 Choir entertained a very attentive audience by singing a collection of songs including ‘River, River’, ‘Coulter’s Candy’, ‘Katie Bairdie’ and the well known favourite from the Sound of Music ‘So Long, Farewell’.

Many thanks to Miss Dorothy Marshall for helping the P4 Choir prepare for the event and for her piano accompaniment to their super singing.
